Originally various groups of snakes that were experimented on by Miruscires and scientists alike, eventually creating several new species; titled Sikilins.

Species
Sapient Sentient
Draconis; An attempt at creating an artificial dragon, giving a cobra wings lead to this creature. After giving it two artifices, the first Draconis was born. It is considered immortal as just before it dies, it'll lay a large egg and wrap itself around it, after a few days, the Draconis will die and from the egg, a younger one will hatch.

While technically only one true draconis exists, it can lay multiple eggs, if one of these eggs are placed within a sacrificed womb, the creature hatching, referred to as a Drocanis,  is much smaller and less intelligent however will form a life bond with the first being it sees. These creatures tend to only live 10-15 years though, and are considered hyper rare as the Draconis requests wishes to be granted, and it is often locked up in one of the various cultural empires.

Scorcio; The initially monstrous combination of a scorpion and a snake, Scorcios hold the elongated body of a snake with a pair of pencers for arms. Their tails have a stinger which can spit venom. They kill and eat just about everything, including each other.
Ninagani; one of the first fully sapient human hybrids, Ninagani are a species which holds a human upper body and a serpent lower body, often averaging 10-13 feet from head to tail. They tend to be particularly facinated by gems and other earthly treasures, often having dens where they will horde a small chest filled with various trinkets they either trade with travelers or take from them, stealing or off their bodies after a fight. They often hold venomous fangs, and the females of the species are often considered even more beautiful than human females. Some Ninagani have been seen with four arms instead of two.

While most are either hostile or seek to take advantage of humans, some hold a more benevolent and protective personality, aiding humans in various events. Their natural enemies are the Radugas

Tuscion; One of the first successful hybrid experiments, the Tuscion holds the body of a snake, often of decent size, with the head of a toucan. While not sapient, Tuscions are highly intelligent and often make good pets for those who have enough patience.
Toumince; The largest of the Sikilins, Toumince are large water creatures who hold a human like head with horns and fangs, snake-like neck, an elongated body with four arms, the second set in place of legs, and a tadpole-ish tail. These creatures, while rare, are found within marsh lands, where they wrestle the various other creatures that inhabit the regions.
