Erwin Ariss
The second king of Ail Tir, a warrior said to be immortal. Spending most of his life searching for an equal opponent, Erwin passed the crown to his successor before entering a journey that would span the rest of his known life.
It is said that because he had no one who could stand beside him in battle, he made a deal with Zaire, to place him in a slumber, deep in the Dawdox mountains, until a worthy opponent came to his tomb and uttered the waking phrase, a phrase that only the worthy would know.
Since his disappearance, his tale has garnered adventurers and heroes alike to attempt to find and defeat Erwin Ariss, however none have managed. Along with journeymen, the tale of Erwin Ariss has also created a group of followers, who worship him as if he were a god, with their origin stating to have started when Erwin was king over the lands of the Gwyn.
These followers search the lands, offering children tales of glory, riches, and fame, all of which are frowned upon by most, and entering fights with unwarranted men as they search for their god's only want.
