O'Hara Dark Matter Well

The O'Hara Dark Matter Well, or O.D.M.W., often shortened to the O'Hara Well, also known as the Mid-Ice, and Black Sea is a major entity within universe 1.31.99., affecting nearly all of it's Varses.

Created on March 2nd, 2099 through experiments involving altering forms of matter to use as weapons, such as a quark-gluon plasma producing laser. It is unknown exactly how this occurred, however the initial effect was a massive explosion which wiped an entire country off the map before causing an ice age across its continent, the end result was a massive sea with a black coloration.

While unknown to people through the rest of it's history, at the bottom of this massive country sized Well, is a sheet of superionic ice, which holds a mysterious center that acts as a dimensional rift.

Strafes

It is unknown to the inhabitants of the Varses, however it is due to the existence of the O'Hara Well that the Strafes have occurred. While the Well itself wasn't enough to cause this, the impacts made by the SATIN Alchem Collider connected to the creation of the O'Hara Well and caused what are now referred to as Strafes across the various varses found within 1.31.99. Known in this Varse as the Mid-Ice, or Ice Continent, formally called Guatrus, was created through a spell which sacrificed as entire continent, causing it to turn into a massive sky-spanning tower of ice. In the center of this vertical sheet of ice, rests a mysterious dimensional rift.

For as long as recorded history, varse 1044 has held a massive wall of ice, which they referred to as the Mid-Ice, or Canol Rhew, holding a similar affect as that in 534. It is unknown exactly how the ice formed in 1044.
