Considered by those who knew him to be the best duelist in history, being an incredibly skilled melee fighter before he was swallowed by the BeHeMoth, and unmatched after escaping it, Calen's ability with various martial arts is still recognized by many groups within the League.

On top of his high skill is martial arts, Calen was also unparalleled in the manipulation of Pryacelsius, an ability which allowed him to perform various acts that seemed super-human and unnatural.
