Adrophontic
The Adrophontic League, commonly referred to as Adro by its citizens and The League by its adversaries, stands as the oldest and once the most expansive political entity in the Sakti galaxy. At its zenith, the League controlled nearly 85% of the celestial ocean, though it has since fractured and now governs a significantly reduced territory. Despite this decline, it still spans two quadrants and encompasses forty-one associations within its borders.
Fracture and Reformation:
The Fracture, a cataclysmic event that tore the League apart, was not merely a political rebellion but a convergence of cosmic and social upheavals. Massive stellar storms, believed to have been triggered by the destabilization of a nearby neutron star, wreaked havoc on the League’s infrastructure. This led to the isolation of several key systems, sparking a wave of insurrections fueled by long-standing grievances. The League's reformation was a hard-won process, resulting in the current, more decentralized structure, where local associations wield significant autonomy, though under the overarching authority of the Kanda-Mutilaro.
Government & Politics
The governance of the Adrophontic League is a complex and multifaceted structure, embodying elements of a Federation, Autocracy, Oligarchy, Netocracy, Stratocracy, Theocracy, Monarchy, and a Federal Republic.
Hierarchy:
- Kanda ("God"): The supreme entity that communicates directly with Deacius, relaying divine wishes to the Kanda-Mutilaro. The Kanda is shrouded in mystery, believed to be a digital consciousness derived from the League's ancient AI that merged with the Karkarsus religion’s spiritual leaders.
- Kanda-Mutilaro ("Body of God"): The core leadership of the League, consisting of various sections tied to the Karkarsus religion and Adrophontic leadership:
- Kanda-Vocai ("God Mouth"): This group interprets the divine laws and dictates the tenets of the League based on the guidance received from the Kanda. The Kanda-Vocai is rumored to consist of entities that are no longer entirely organic, having undergone extensive cybernetic enhancements to better 'channel' the Kanda's will.
- Kanda-Ara ("God Hand"): This collection of ten figures commands the Adro military, enforcing the League’s laws across its territories. The Kanda-Ara employs advanced combat drones, controlled by soldiers whose consciousness is partially integrated with the machines they command, blurring the line between organic and AI.
- Kanda-Siel ("God Eye"): Responsible for translating the decrees of the Kanda-Vocai into actionable laws across the League's states. The Kanda-Siel liaises with the various associations and free ententes governed by the League. The Kanda-Siel also maintains a vast network of surveillance that borders on omniscience, utilizing quantum entangled sensors to monitor entire star systems in real time.
Campaigns:
- Intergalactic Expansion: For millennia, the League has championed the cause of intergalactic travel and colonization, pushing the boundaries of its influence beyond its current borders. Recently, the campaign has shifted towards creating stable wormholes to other galaxies, a project known as The Horizon Initiative. This initiative seeks to build a network of stable transgalactic routes, allowing for instantaneous travel between distant galaxies, though it faces numerous technical and ethical challenges.
- Reclamation: A prominent military campaign focuses on reclaiming lost territories and restoring the League’s dominance over the entire galaxy. The campaign, known as Operation Sovereign Tide, is not just a military endeavor but a socio-political movement aimed at re-integrating the fractured territories through cultural exchange, economic incentives, and covert operations to destabilize opposition forces.
Citizenship:
Every individual who crosses into the League’s borders must register as either a full or temporary citizen. Those born within its systems can register from the age of twelve. While registration isn't required for those residing on their birth planet or station, it becomes mandatory for any form of legal interstellar travel. Citizenship provides access to various employment opportunities depending on one's history, location, and species. Each citizen is assigned a social number and a banking account, allowing for the exchange of registered currencies at Network satellite stations.
- Social Integration Program (SIP): The League runs an extensive program aimed at integrating the diverse species within its borders, known as the Social Integration Program. SIP offers education, job training, and cultural immersion experiences, but also subtly reinforces the League's ideology, ensuring that all citizens, regardless of origin, adhere to the principles set forth by the Kanda-Mutilaro.
- Synaptic Census: The League conducts a periodic Synaptic Census, a process where citizens’ neurological data is scanned and analyzed to monitor loyalty and detect potential insurrectionary thoughts. This census is justified as a means of ensuring social harmony and stability but has drawn criticism from civil rights groups who see it as a severe infringement on personal freedoms.
Associations:
The vastness of the League necessitates its division into Associations, which in turn govern smaller ententes. Associations operate with considerable autonomy, though they are expected to align with the League's central doctrines. However, some associations have begun experimenting with Neo-Federation Models, where local governments are exploring more democratic and inclusive governance systems, leading to a quiet tension between progressive and traditionalist forces within the League.
Economy
Network Stations:
The Network is a vast array of space stations strategically positioned just outside all registered solar systems within the League. These stations connect to satellites that handle communication, navigation, observation, and weather systems for the planets within their jurisdiction.
The Network is structured into three layers, each requiring different access levels:
- Planet Level Network: Grants access to resources stored on a single planet and those within the same system. Accessibility is controlled by the governing entente.
- System Level Network: Provides access to nearby systems, managed by the association overseeing that entente.
- Cluster Level Network: Offers broader access to distant systems, typically restricted to the League's military and political leadership.
- Data Economy: The League's economy is heavily reliant on the exchange and trade of data. Data Credits (D.C.) have become a secondary currency, used primarily by corporations and governments to trade valuable information, technological blueprints, and even intellectual property. The data economy is overseen by the Siel Exchange, a vast digital marketplace where the value of data fluctuates like stock markets.
- Economic Stratification: Wealth in the League is highly stratified, with a significant divide between the hyper-wealthy elite, often linked to the Kanda-Vocai, and the lower classes. The Citizenship Dividend Program (CDP) attempts to address this disparity by providing a basic income to all registered citizens, funded by the vast resources of the League. However, the program is often criticized for being insufficient and unevenly distributed.
Currency:
The Adro-Collect (A.C.) is the League’s official currency, entirely electronic and managed through a portable device installed on most Adrophontic ships. This device acts as a wallet, updating when entering or exiting a Network-connected planet’s atmosphere, recording expenditures, and to whom payments were made. If an account is overdrawn, the individual is placed in debt, with increasing consequences if the debt remains unpaid.
- Debt Enforcement: The League has an extensive system for managing debt, which includes Debt Repayment Bonds (DRBs), where debtors can sell a portion of their future labor to corporations or wealthy patrons in exchange for immediate debt relief. However, failure to meet DRB obligations can result in severe penalties, including forced labor in the outer colonies.
Military
The Adrophontic League boasts the largest military in the galaxy, organized into several branches, each with specialized divisions:
- Po-Carith: Law enforcement within Adro’s borders. This branch also includes the Behavioral Adjustment Corps, which uses advanced neuro-modification techniques to rehabilitate or control dissidents.
- Nia-Carith: Monitors the Network, safeguards against piracy, and oversees the banking system. The Nia-Carith also operates the Digital Warfare Division (DWD), specializing in cyber warfare and the manipulation of enemy communication systems.
- Ioa-Carith: Manages entente exchanges. This branch plays a critical role in diplomatic missions and intelligence gathering, often embedding operatives in foreign governments.
- Mia-Carith: Responsible for border patrols. The Mia-Carith employs Sentinel Arrays, vast networks of automated defense platforms capable of detecting and neutralizing threats across light-years of space.
- Deias-Tren: The League's primary defense force, comprising millions of trained personnel. The Deias-Tren also includes the Psi-Troopers, soldiers who have undergone psychic enhancement to improve battlefield awareness and combat abilities.
- Gilo-Tren: Specializes in Celestial Body Displacement, managing rogue Intgáct entities. This branch also handles Celestial Terraforming Operations, where entire planets are reshaped for strategic purposes.
- Protis-Tren: Focuses on recording and collecting Astralic species across the galaxy. The Protis-Tren is often at odds with scientific communities outside the League, accused of exploiting rare species for military experiments.
- Nau-Tren: An elite warrior branch, selecting and training individuals from birth. Nau-Tren Cadets undergo extreme conditioning and are implanted with neural augmentations that enhance their physical and mental capabilities.
- Ontis-Tren: Handles investigations within the military. The Ontis-Tren is known for its Internal Affairs Division, which has broad powers to investigate and discipline military personnel, often operating with little oversight.
- Kanda-Suropik ("God Fingers")/Ara-Suropik ("Hand(s) Fingers"): Twenty clones of an extinct hive-minded species, near invincible, serving as the personal guard of the Kanda-Ara. These clones are equipped with Bio-Cybernetic Enhancements, making them some of the most formidable beings in the galaxy. They are often deployed on critical missions that require absolute success, regardless of the cost.

Verisimilitude Conceptions
The Verisimilitude Conceptions is a military turned political campaign that seeks to document the origin of all life. It has broken things into three sources. Celestial, Aithereal, and the Resconscius.
Celestial
Representing the body (space) or material, those who're Celestial Conceptions have an origin with a physical body, such as Humans, Godorein, and Gaufbeyn.
The Terrestrial Oceans, Celestial Oceans, Stellers, and Cosmology refers to the Celestial Conception.
Aithereal
Representing the spirit or immaterial, those who're Aithereal Conceptions have an origin with the higher soul, such as Mortisambigiutis and Engelles.
The Astral, Ethereal, and Empyream all refer to the Aithereal Conception.
Resconscius
Representing the mind (perceptibility) or reality, those who're Resconscius Conceptions have an origin with the gestalt reality of the universe.
_ and Resprimius are some of the major Resconscius Dangers that have appeared in stories.
The Metality, Corporality, and _ all refer to the Resconscius Conception.
Citizens
Every interstellar passenger who passes the League's borders must register to become either a full or temporary citizen. Those born on the systems within it's borders may register as early as the average age of twelve. While they do no require to be registered while living on their born planet or station, in order to partake in any form of legal interstellar flight, they must. All citizens can find a variety of jobs based on their history, location, and species. A social number is assigned to them, and a banking account is given, which allows for the exchange of all registered currencies at Network satellite stations.
Associations
Due to the immense size of the League, it is broken into Associations, which govern ententes.

In charge of enforcing the laws within the borders of Adro.
Nia-Carith
Watches The Network from pirates and keeps track of the banking system.
Iao-Carith
In charge of Entente exchange.
Mia-Carith
In charge of border patrol.
Deias-Tren
The guard of the League, comprised of millions upon millions of trained men and women.
Gilo-Tren

Protis-Tren
a branch exclusively responsible for the recording and collection of Astralic species in the galaxy.
Nau-Tren
A branch of elite warriors of the military which are specifically selected and raised from birth.
Ontis-Tren
A branch which deals with the investigations of military personnel.
Kanda-Suropik
Translating to 'God Fingers' or 'Fingers of God', alternatively referred to as 'Ara-Suropik', which means 'Hand(s) Fingers', are twenty clones of an extinct hive minded species which are considered near invincible, serving directly under the Kanda-Ara, protecting him.
- Ara-Suropik reffers to the collective hive mind of twenty specific entities created through Human and Sluiag genetic technology. Based on an ancient extinct species, the Ara-Suropik are considered near invincible as their regenerative abilities heal even complete dismemberment immediately. They are a boneless species of formless jumbled corded muscle and nerve bundles, typically using certain metalic covers like armour to keep a coherant form. They lack all the typical organs of most species, including hearts and lungs, with their circulatory system functioning by way of a series of capillaries and muscular contractions which push blood through their bodies, this also allowed them to cut off heavy blood-flow to certain areas to prevent bleed-out when cut. Their nervous system was distributed throughout their body in the form of millions of nerve clusters, allowing near instantaneous reflexes as well as the ability to sustain a high volume of injury without any overall damage. Their senses were through their nervous system, using a form of echolocation to collect their surroundings, which was able to sense even a heartbeat up to two hundred meters away.
- The complete vaporization or incineration of their body is the only way to kill one.
- It's not public knowledge, but they typically take the form of moving walls and floor leading up to the Kanda-Ara's seat.

Network Stations
The Network is a series of space stations which have been strategically placed within the borders of the League, just outside all registered solar systems. These stations directly connect to a number of satellites for the planets within the systems, these include the communication, navigation, observation, and weather satellites.
The Network can be broken down into three layers, each of which requires different levels of access, overseen by one or more government groupings apart of Adrophontic.
- Planet level Network allows for the access to all things stored within that single planet. As well as the planets within the same system. It's accessibility is determined by the entent which controls that system.
- System level Network allows for the access to all nearby systems. It's accessibility is usually determined by the association which heads that entent.
- Cluster level Network allows for the access to further reaching systems. It's accessibility is usually restricted to League Military and association political discussion.
Currency
Adro-Collect, or A.C. is the entirely electronic official currency of the League, done through a portable device that is installed on most Adrophontic ships, which is linked to the Network. It serves as a wallet, and payment is made through a type of 'checking' system. The device would update and save your account when entering or exiting a Network connected planet's atmosphere, keeping a record of how much you spent and to whom while offline on the planet. Due to the account not updating until leaving the planet's atmosphere, one could overdraft their account, and many have, placing them in debt, which if not payed within three average months, will cause a bounty to be set on you. If not paid within seven average months, a Nia-Carith unit will be sent after you.
Steller Highways
Artificially created wormholes which can be periodically created outside of Network Stations. These highways are the main form of FTL technology through the galaxy. It takes most ships a couple of days to completely pass through them. Due to these highways causing a gravitational pull from one end towards the other, and can mess with the gravity of the system in which the Network Station is in, there are designated times for which these highways are open. With laws in place to attempt to lower the amount of possible negative effect on the solar systems these highways can have, any who're inside of these holes when they close vanish. It's theorized these lost souls go to another plane, like when a permanent highway is created, or that a similar effect happens as in the theorized inside of a black hole and they're crushed to infinity.
Ships require (something with negative mass) in order to pass through these wormholes, otherwise the wormhole would rip apart, this can cause one of two effects, either the wormhole simply rips and the highway closes, or it makes the highway permanent, as well as opening a portal to another plane.
