It is frequently mistaken that Echoes are the 'true' form of Shinmanaokimagi, this however is wrong, Echoes are types of leftovers of the deceased, where as Shinmanaokimagi is a protective layer over the Soul.

Also known as Ghosts or Spirits, Echoes are entities that form in the Thiel plane.

The name echoes is used both as a singular and plural, however some scholars have used Echoe as a form of singular, but this is an unnecessary argument.

To humans, Echoes appear as semi-transparent blue illuminates with blob-like silhouettes, with a blue aura pulsating from their chest, revealing their shape.

Conception

When a Soul is taken to the Trencoverse to be judged, sometimes a piece of them stays behind, for various reasons, these left-overs become what is known as Echoes.

When a peace of a Soul tears from itself and falls into Thiel, it will appear as a type of pod on the ground of the _, which replaces the womb of mammals. After several months inside this pod, it will eventually begin to split open, where a new born baby will appear. Due to the fact that Echoes do not require sustenance to survive, the baby will simply grow without the need of any help. Eventually, it will either die or gain sapience.

Forms

There are hundreds of classifications of Echoes, which have been placed into one of ten ranks, according to a hierarchy created by the _. Echoes vary vastly, with the number of Echoes said to quadruple all the life in Tak Terbatas, including humans, planets, animals, etc.

Death

When an Echoe dies, one of two things happens. If the Echoe had yet to gain sapience, it will become another pod, restarting it's life. If the Echoe had gained sapience, it will be taken to Trencoverse to be judged, as an entirely new Soul. If it was eaten, either with or without sapience, it will be trapped in the dominion of the one who ate it, tortured until the one who ate it is judged, where it will then be judged as well.

Interaction with other Planes

Most cases of 'Ghosts' are often misunderstandings of basic things in life, however, on rare circumstances, Echoes do make it onto other planes, including Tak Terbatas, where they are sometimes seen. Most of the time, these Echoes get there by accident and don't mean any harm, however occasionally there is a darker Echoe who choose to torment things or people, picking particular objects or places to call their own.

Thiel

Little to nothing is truly known of Thiel, aside from the fact that it is considered hell by some sentient echoes and heaven by others.
