Vek Qezaqi

Captain of the Ural, Vek finds his memories of childhood difficult, unable to recall anything before the slaughter. After several days of being alone, the Qezaqi tribe of Joineta, looking to profit off the misfortune of Vek's village, stumbled across the boy, and seeing potential profit in having a human around, abducted him under the guise of help. Raised among the Qezaqi, Vek slowly adopted their culture, and was in-turn slowly accepted as a member. Before too long he towered over most of them. But it was his home. They were his people. He learned many things, from scavenging around to tinkering with Autrons.

At some point, the Qezaqi scavenged a X.U.C.-40'03 which they witnessed crash near their Kruerkand. It was quickly discovered that this belonged to the Adrophontic military, as aboard the wreckage was an officer, whome Vek found a C.E.T. on, along with other military items, which Vek kept hidden and close. The ship was torn apart by the Qezaqi who added it's parts to their mobile home, experimenting with it's parts.

Near his 15th birthday, tragedy struck once more; the Jaquas returned, and with them, the destruction of the Qezaqi Kruerkand. The Jaquas, however, mistook him for one of them, sparing his life, however taking him prisoner as he was of another tribe. He would watch, a captive, over the next two years as his home was turned from a mobile, dune crawler, to a custom Surplanan. It was during this, on the eve of his 18th birthday that Qotaro, one of his brother Qezaqi, and one of the few who survived, raided the camp with friends he had gathered, and slaughtered most of the clan, while they celebrated the completion of the Surplanan.

Freed, Vek reflected on all that he had lost, and determined that he needed to seek training. To better himself, and learn of the world outside of the endless tragedies this planet laid at his feet. He set off with Qotaro on their home turned celestial-craft, leaving the sandy dunes that he called home, in search of something greater, and perhaps, the secrets to who the Adrophontic League was.

He would return, but only when he had reached his personal enlightenment. He wasn't sure if he craved the heads of the Jaquas, or to try and solidify peace between the races, so such events never happened again. Little did he know, he'd be distracted from this goal almost certainly in the immediate future.

Qotaro Qezaqi

First mate and pilot of the Ural, Qotaro

With the Jaqua tribe on the run, and his brother freed, Qotaro set his eye on his former home turned celestial-craft, and inspected it.

Vedro

A freelance doctor who travels the galaxy, offering to heal anyone that needs it, regardless of their affiliations, as long as they don't anger him or make enemies with him in any way. However, due to his heritage and many of his associates, he's an experienced fighter who is just as willing to kill as he is to heal. No matter what happens to him, though, it always seems that as soon as he gets a nice situation, something goes wrong, and his bad luck only works against him, forcing him to relocate and restart his life.

With a habbit of announcing his presence to those unaware of it, often causing him to get noticed whereever he goes. Vedro contains extraordinarily bad luck, and frequintly finds issues with others misinterpreting his meanings, which gets him into even more trouble than he intends to get into.
