Yarn: Dominoes (Story)

Dominoes is telling the background story of Shoda's decent into madness. Or it's showing how Mudakai takes control, not sure.

Event 1

Chapter 6 // START

Shoda:As he gets out of the limousine, Shoda looks towards the shore as the water hits the rocks, the smell of salt fills the air as he asks

"How long do you think we've been coming here?"

Maki:As she slides out beside him, he shuts the door behind her. Putting her mask on, Maki responds

"Five years."

Shoda:"I never could understand why the old men liked this place. It a one way bridge to get to this island, the K.P.D. could lock this place down in minutes."

Maki:"That's why they have an in with them, Shoda."

Saying this, Maki begins walking towards the building, Shoda just behind her

Shoda:"It doesn't have to be the K.P.D."

Maki:As Shoda mumbles this, the two enter the mostly empty cabin turned dinner. With only one waitress appearing to be working this day, the two continue to walk past her, only stopping once they get to a door on the far right of the building. Taking a breath, Shoda enters the room first to find several members men and a woman sitting at a table, each having another person standing just behind them to their right. Taking a seat on the left side of the room, Maki watches as Shoda takes his place by his father's side

Yozo:Sitting down a glass of water, Yozo puts his hands together before sitting them on the table, looking over to the man to his right, he says

"With our moment of silence done, we now introduce the new head of the Akakurodas family."

Pindra:With each member raising a glass of red liquid, one of the men stand up, and says

"Thank you for your words of kindness to my pred. But uh.."

Placing a cigarette in his mouth, the man says

"Now that I'm apart of the table, I think it's time for some changes."

Furui:"This fuckin' brat.. Time for changes, what do you know about time!? You've finally stopped sucking on your mother's teat and you want to sit in that chair and pretend you know what's best."

Pindra:"Furui, I've taken your shit since the day I joined this group, you can't talk to me like that anymore, we're equal."

Furui:"HAH!"

With a single chuckle, Furui looks over to Yozo and asks

"Can you believe this kid? Must be a co-medium, cause all I'm hearing are jokes."

Yozo:"Furui, let Pindra speak."

Pindra:With Furiu giving off a face of disgust before Pindra flicks his cigarette

"You all are living in the past. Hell, you're still operating with B.World laws in mind."

"That shits been dead for a long time. Now the F.V.W.A., they're still around, barely."

"You're still trying to live with the farmers when we're emperors."

Furui:"What the fuck is this kid talking about?"

Utahana:The lady of the table pipes up

"Furui, please."

Furui:"Thought you were a leader, not a nani."

Pindra:"Old man, if you don't shut your mouth I'll shut it for you."

Furui:"With what? Your two years on the streets before Yuza scraped your skinny ass up, shut up and let the adults talk now."

Pindra:Pulling out a gun, Pindra points it at Furui saying

"With this you piece of shit!"

Furui:Letting out another laugh, Furui slaps his hand on the table as Utahana smiles, Yozo stares at the scene and the final member saying

Towama:"Pindra, take a seat, Furui stop teasing the boy. Utahana, you told me you wished to say something during this meeting."

The large man says slowly, through a deep croaky voice

Utahana:Pindra takes his seat, putting his gun up as the rest of the members look to Utahana as she says

"I have gotten word that the Keltas are beginning to aid the Astrals."

Pindra:Pindra interrupts, with a 'pfft', continuing

"Like I said, they're history."

Towama:"Pindra, Utahana allowed you to speak, it is assumed you would give her the respect to allow her to do the same."

Utahana:Leaning back in his seat, Pindra lights another cigarette

"There is word that Sebastian is trying to return."

Furui:With Towama letting out a low 'mmm' and Yozo lowering his head, Furui says as Pindra looks around room

"That's impossible. They told me personally."

Yozo:"How truthful do you believe this word is, Utahana?"

Utahana:"Despite my hopes that it's not, it seems a group is gathering to help him. They found the Theosat."

Pindra:Towama takes a deep breath as Furui begins to turn pale. Seeing their reactions and feeling the tension building, Pindra asks

"Who the fuck is Sebast-e-on and what the hell is Theosat?"

Yozo:A few moments pass as the room goes quiet, Yozo is one to break the silence, saying

"Sebastian is the."

Pausing, Pindra questions him again

"He was one of the first Keltas."

"Along with the white death, he nearly made the Keltas extinct in the seventeen hundreds."

Pindra:"The seven..teen hundreds?"

"Well shit, lets just go and break his ancient ass bones, sounds like he's on the brink of turning to dust anyways."

Furui:"Fool, learn what you are saying before you speak!"

Yozo:With Furui's snap, Yozo continues

"If he returns we will surely see the end of the world."

Pindra:"Can we speak with a little history? Return from where? Did he go on vacation? Do we have him locked up?"

Yozo:"It is unknown why, but he ventured into another realm."

Pindra:"Realm?.. The Astral home?"

Yozo:"An over simplified way to put it, but yes."

Pindra:"Okay, so the monsters and the other monsters want to help each other out to get their leader, why don't we just go and kill them? What I was saying from the beginning!"

Utahana:"While one or two coming up missing is fine, we can not massacre them, there are too many and it would cause too much legal trouble, we wouldn't even get half way though before they would come after us."

Pindra:"They?"

Furui:"The people Jack work for, Pindra."

Pindra:"Jack who? Your cousin Jack?"

Furui:"I don't have a cousin Jack."

Pindra:"Exactly, who the fuck is Jack?"

Towama:"Kin'ichi."

Pindra:"The fucking street rat that stays at the weird ass bar in Yozo's district?"

"What does he have to do with any of this?"

Furui:"Yozo, I'm not sitting here and listening to another hour of explaining to this fuckin' brat just because he didn't learn anything while Yoza was around."

Yozo:With a nod, Yozo raises his hand

"Pindra, Cora will explain it to you later."

"Utahana, please, continue."

Utahana:"You all know that if they find someone who can read that book, they can bring worse things than Sebastian into our world."

Mudakei:The group hears the door open as they all stop and look to see a man walk in the room before taking a seat at the table, the waitress calling out she is sorry as she is pushed to the side by another man as he and his twin enter the room next, shutting the door behind them

"Well, from the sounds of it, you all have your information."

Furui:"Another child wants to sit with the adults!"

Utahana:"This is a private party."

Mudakei:"Oh I know."

The man says before giving them a smile

"I was invited by Yuza."

Pindra:Standing up, Pindra yells to the new comer

"Yuza is dead, you fucking liar, now get out of her before you join him!"

Mudakei:"Oh, yes, I know. I was there."

Looking over to Maki, the man asks

"If you wouldn't mind dear, pour me a water."

Utahana:Just as he finishes his request, Yozo slams his fist into the table, as Utahana asks

"What do you mean you were there?"

Mudakei:Looking to Yozo as he stares back, he looks over to the woman when replying

"Where else would the person who shoved the knife in the old man's chest be?"

Pindra:Bringing out his gun again and aiming it at the new man, Pindra yells out

"He died of a heart attack, now get out before I kill you and your clones!"

Mudakei:Ignoring the boy, the man looks around the table as Furui shows he is obviously uneasy, Towama sits straight, not moving as he stares ahead, his eyes covered by the shadow of his hat, Yozo stares back at him with anger and Utahana lowers her eyes

"Not the exact response I expected, but oh well."

Pindra:"Alright, enough of this shit!"

Firing his gun, Pindra's body drops back on the chair before falling to the ground, blood covering the wall behind him as the man behind who stood behind him watches his bosses body hit the ground

Furui:Furui looks over, confused and shaken, he asks

"How the hell?"

Mudakei:"Well, that just worked out, he was the only one I really did not need."

Furui:Standing up as well, Furui yells down the table

"Who are you!?"

Mudakei:"If you gave me a moment, I was going to say it. My name is Mudakei Aijoukirau. I came here to offer my help in return for a favor."

Furui:"What makes you think any of us would listen to you!? You killed one of us!"

Mudakei:"Two. And I guess you can just call it a gut feeling."

Furui:"Bullshit!"

Mudakei:"No? Alright, how about this."

A few moments pass before Furui goes to say something but Mudakei interrupts him

"Sorry, my timing was slightly off."

Furui:With Mudakei's words, Furui's face turns red in anger as he slams his hand on the table

"Kill him."

The man behind Furui pulls out a gun and fires, he instead falls with a hole in his head

Turning to see his man dead, Furui looks back to Mudakei, just as he does, a ringing comes from his pocket, looking down confused, he pulls out his phone which he had turned off and answers

Utahana:Utahana watches as Furui's face goes from red to white almost instantly as he falls back in his chair, placing the phone on the table, staring at the pooling blood from Pindra

"What was it?"

Mudakei:"Good, now that I have your full attention, I propose my deal. I want you all to leave the Astrals and Keltas alone."

Yozo:"And what do we get?"

Mudakei:"I'll get rid of the Throttle."

Utahana:"And what if we say no?"

Mudakei:"Then I get up and leave."

"And watch as each of you burn."

Yozo:With his hand gripping into a fist, his head begins to shake as he says

"Threatening isn't a very good way of asking for a trade."

Mudakei:"Oh, no, it wasn't a threat. I wouldn't touch any of you. I won't have to."

Utahana:"What do you gain by letting the monsters bring Sebastian back?"

Mudakei:"That's private, all you have to know is I can make all your worries go away and make all of your dreams a reality."

Utahana:"It's impossible to kill Full Throttle, and even if it wasn't, he's good for business. We wouldn't want him gone."

Mudakei:"Oh no, Throttle was for Fukase. For you I can bring your Koibito back."

Utahana:Her eyes widen as she asks

"How do you know that name?"

Yozo:"And why would I want Full Throttle gone?"

Mudakei:"Like I said, my part in this is private, just worry about yours."

Yozo:"Deals off."

Utahana:Utahana looks over to Yozo as he stares at Mudakei

Mudakei:"Just think about it. I'll leave my contact info in case the situation changes."

Standing from the table, Mudakei straightens his suit and glances to Towama before walking out

Shoda:"What!? That's it!?"

As he shouts this, the man stops and looks back as Yoza raises a hand to quieten Shoda

"Pindra was right, you've all become too old and weak! You let a man walk in here, kill two of your men, threaten you, and then just let him leave!"

"If you won't do it, I will!"

Moving his hand, one of the shadows near Mudakei grow a point and shoot towards him but is stopped as one of the twins grab it, as it's stopped, Shoda moves his hand once more as another shadow grows a point and goes to stab the man but is dodged as the other twin pulls him out of the way

Stepping forward, Mudakei goes back to walking away as Shoda brings up another shadow spike but it's dodged as a small fight breaks out

Yozo:The fight continues as Shoda holds his own against the twins before they're engulfed in darkness, the only thing they can see are the markings along Yozo's body as they glow in the shadows

"You two can follow your master or die without him, it is your choice."

Maki:Maki sees one of them smirk as they turn and leave. Shoda stands in place, still blinded by his father's darkness, after a moment, she stands and places a hand on the table, asking

"Do you want me to find out who he is?"

Yozo:Breathing heavily, Yozo sits back in his chair.

"Yes.. I want to know everything about him."

Maki:A moment passes before she says

"Perseus should be finishing the entrance exam soon."

Yozo:"Go."

Utahana:Everything becomes quiet after she leaves, as everyone is in deep thought, Shoda getting more and more angry in the darkness. Several minutes pass before Utahana asks

"Shodas right."

Yozo:With a nod, Yozo agrees

"Even after one of us was murdered, we allowed a random man to walk in here and talk to us like we were friends."

Utahana:"Our security and ignorance aside. The monsters have the Theosat, what should we do about this?"

Yozo:"Towama, any suggestions?"

Towama:Standing from the table, Towama exits, not saying a word

Yozo:Watching him leave before glancing to Furui, Yozo says

"Get a few of your men and visit the Ichor. There is someone there that might be able to help us stop this."
