Star(*)-108973, or Astric-108973, also known as Astral-108973, is an Astralic that plays a major role during the events of Yoioshi Gradation. Being a small piece of Sebastian Wauter that tore away and was summoned to this realm, it takes the name Baal among others as it slowly eats people's Dlua, and gains self-awareness through the course of the series before being retaken by Sebastian.

Amon is the afterbirth of raw emotion given form. An Astral briefly met with the results of a terrible act and decided to cast aside the echos in the Ether. Ripping open reality, Amon crawled out kicking and screaming. It was quick to find his goal in life: feed. As it has devoured both flesh and soul, it has grown both more bestial and clever at once. How long this can last and where this leads are questions in the back of its mind that only grow as it gains more capacity to ponder on it. The human host it first clung to is now a twisted wretch of a creature. Every so often, Amon glimpses into the person's past. This is where it discovered language and even found its own name.
