A planet in the Jall Quadrant of Bima-Sakti, Nuirus was one of the many planets that humans sent a colony ship to during the the Colonial Wave.
Now an uninhabitable planet, humanity created their only safe heaven, The Pall, where they struggle to live.
Pre-Human Environment
History
Year | Event |
---|---|
000 | Humanity lands on the planet and begins setting up their home. |
015 | A prob is sent to the moon; Addora, collecting information to be used during the planned manned trip later. |
020 | Mandkind successfully sends a manned ship to the moon and back, however while on the moon, the nation who helmed the mission, The Consitutional Federal Monarchy of Astoria, plant their flag. |
040 | After 20 years of cut funding and lack of interest, the C.F.M.A. returns to space and begins building an international space station called _. |
055 | _ is finished and used for research and observation by a small crew. |
070 | Small bases are being built on the moon, Addora by the world countries and even some private companies and individuals. These bases are used as tourist locations, mining operations, and research and development. |
100 | The world population has reached 12 billion and the world can no longer sustain itself on the available landmass. The world's largest and strongest companies come together and agree to begin terraforming the moon in hopes of moving much of the population there. |
146 | The plan to terraform Addora has been mostly a success. Many of the colonies are self-sustaining with only food and certain items, with raw resources needed. |
161 | The cost of ships constantly leaving the world's atmosphere to travel to the moon and the resources required to get it there begins to way on the economy. |
169 | The nations decide to build an orbital ring around the planet, attaching the two via elevators. They hope to build and launch ships on the ring to reduce the cost of sending supplies to the moon. |
177-185 | An epidemic of Candida Auris kills sixty percent of the world's remaining population, this also causes travel between earth and Addora to seize. |
193 | The cities and bases on Addora cure and cavvinate the fungal infections of Candida Auris allowing for travel between planets to resume. |
208 | Work on the orbital ring begins again, finding a boom with major use of automation and robots along with the first proto-androids. |
229 | The ring is finished and with it's help, Addora creates a spaceport to be used in Asteroid Mining. |
260 | The world's population has not returned to the pre-endemic levels, as the human birthrate has dropped to twenty five percent, with both males and females losing fertility. |
280 | Addora's population has begun to slow and stagnate as they begin to experience fertility rates similar to earth's. |
315 | Genetic experiments which have been outlawed by the World Government Council, are done in the nation of Tismorn, with success in not only increasing fertility but also strength, agility, intelligence, life span, and muscle/bone strength. |
322 | When the W.G.C. learns of the genetic experiments, they begin a formal investigation into Tismorn, who agrees to be probed and complies with security council investigations. |
330 | With no evidence found, the W.G.C. demands that Tismorn give over the documents and subjects or face invasion by the world council. |
335 | With five years of diplomatic talk passing, Tismorn is given the same ultimatum as before, to give all documents and subjects to the world council or face war. However with no reply given, a new strain of Candida Auris begins appearing in most of the major cities the following days. Along with the outbreak of a stronger strain, robots, androids, and automatons go rogue and begin attacking civilians and military personal. Believing both acts to be attacks by Tismorn, the world council declares war against the nation for terroristic acts and violating world council protocol, with most nations joining them soon after.
|
388 | After roughly fifty years of war, the world finally achieved peace. Tismorn lost and was broken up with it's leaders tried for war crimes and found guilty, being executed. The war was won mainly through help of androids and bots who spearheaded most of the major operations, due to which when droid and synthetic rights were brought up to the world council, most countries agreed to the idea, and it was to be implemented over an extended period of time, however this was unacceptable to most droids, causing protests and terrorism to begin popping up. Humans handled these protests for the most part peacefully but some nation cracked down harder, increasing the tensions, causing strikes and even bigger protests. Despite having just ended one of the biggest wars in history, it seemed the world was on the brink of another war. |
395 | The droid protest only continued and grew with droid supremacists and human supremacists groups forming and battling on the streets of many nations. Most nations punished these groups heavily for their violence but each group saw this as the government supporting the other side. Droids began pushing for the right to vote and in the countries they got it, they dominated politics out voting the human minorities. Some countries voted in human supremacists parties, in some rare cases these countries removed and destroyed any and all droids, with droid nations following in kind. |
404 | Finally the tensions reached a peak and droids began killing organic life, which humans saw as a threat. Humans, with no choice, now banded together for another world war. The humans on the Addora, having regained contact with earth learned of the past events and decided to give aid. For the first time in twenty+ years, Addora offered an alliance with the humans on earth. The world council agreed and the Organic/Synthetic war began. |
420 | The war started slowly at first with skirmishes and small battles, however the droids retaliated with one a biochemical attack that killed any human who breathed it in. These were dropped in cities and over battlefields, with humans being caught off guard and being slow to recover, their initial advantage quickly turned into an disadvantage. Upon recovering, the big attack humans did in return was small nuclear warheads, causing small EMPs, killing any and all electronics instantly. The war went back and forth like this throughout it's entirety. |
548 | After over a hundred years of war, the human species was on the brink of extinction and the world was all but destroyed, with most organic life dying nearly instantly due to the weather and environment. The few that managed to survive were either extremely lucky or super bacteria that killed anything in came in contact with. The world was radiated, full of diseases, and had so many chemicals and mutagens and other horrors that either the humans or the droids had created. To most, the world was doomed, with no chance of winning the war, so as a last ditch effort, the humans created a compound that broke up metallic and synthetic compounds called Rumnium. These new invention worked as planned, killing all synthetic life but also killed most humans with synthetic hearts or limbs. Unfortunately it wasn't enough and the humans were forced to retreat to the only habitable place they held throughout the war, the orbital ring. Dropping every weapon and nuke remaining onto the planet below, this time causing nothing to survive, including humans who didn't make it to the elevators before they were destroyed. Addora didn't escape unaffected from the war in the end, as the droids managed to set off explosives destroying their cities along with a layer of the moon. Some managed to board escape shuttles to the space ring, seeking shelter and fellow survivors. |
572 | Mankind settled into their new environment, creating small civilizations based on their home countries and working to build back to venture back to Addora and the rest of the solar system. This was not feasible, as the small percentage who survived had neither the information or ability to keep their technological level to that of the per-synthetic war. Some of the viruses from the world below came up with them as well, the few who could keep things together died and mankind entered a dark age the like it hadn't known. |
880 | The humans who survived the past three hundred years were unlike those who had created the structure they lived in. They were barely keeping at an industrialized level and falling slowly to more barbaric ideas and practices. It marked the turn of an era, A.C. (after collapse) where mankind fell back to tribal and nomadic life. |
