While tensions and conflicts still exist, the lessons learned from the Convergence push the inhabitants of the galaxy toward cooperation and exploration of the new cosmic landscape.
- 5,000 G.A.C. Years: Exploration of the Outer Rim With the core regions still dangerous and unstable, explorers turn their attention to the outer rim of the new galaxy. Expeditions discover new star systems, remnants of the old galaxies, and unknown life forms that survived the Convergence in isolated pockets. The outer rim becomes a frontier of discovery, adventure, and new beginnings.

- Events:
- 0-5,000 G.A.C. Years: The Dawn of the Supermassive Era The newly formed galaxy enters a period of relative stability known as the Supermassive Era. The New Empire, resembling the Imperium of Man but with diverse alien species, consolidates power and enforces strict control over the galaxy to prevent another catastrophe. The influence of the supermassive black hole shapes the galaxy’s culture, religion, and politics, with the event of the Convergence becoming a central mythos.
- 1,000-5,000 G.A.C. Years: Exploration of the Outer Rim The New Empire sponsors expeditions to the outer rim of the galaxy, where remnants of old civilizations, undiscovered star systems, and new life forms await. This period sees the rise of explorers, adventurers, and colonizers who push the boundaries of known space, seeking to claim and secure new territories for the Empire.
- 5,000 G.A.C. Years Onward: The Consolidation of Power As exploration continues, the New Empire strengthens its grip on the galaxy, enforcing its laws and ideology with an iron fist. The Supermassive Era becomes defined by a rigid hierarchy, strict surveillance, and the ongoing struggle to balance control with the diverse needs of its many species. Conflicts arise as various factions within the Empire vie for power, setting the stage for future challenges and potential rebellions.

- 0-5,000 G.A.C. Years: The Dawn of the Supermassive Era The New Empire consolidates its power, overseeing the stabilization and exploration of the galaxy’s outer rim.
- 5,000-10,000 G.A.C. Years: Harnessing the Abyss As the New Empire grows, so does its ambition. Scientists and engineers within the Empire begin to explore the possibility of harnessing the immense energy generated by the supermassive black hole at the galaxy’s center. This marks the beginning of the Abyssal Energy Initiative, a massive research and development project aimed at capturing and converting the black hole’s energy into usable power.
- 10,000-15,000 G.A.C. Years: The Singularity Engine After centuries of experimentation, the Empire succeeds in creating the Singularity Engine, a colossal structure built in orbit around the black hole. This engine is capable of extracting and converting the black hole’s energy into a nearly infinite power source. The development of the Singularity Engine ushers in a new technological golden age, as the Empire’s energy needs are now virtually limitless.
- 15,000-20,000 G.A.C. Years: The Age of Technological Ascendancy With the immense power of the Singularity Engine at its disposal, the New Empire enters a period of rapid technological advancement. Innovations in energy weapons, starship propulsion, artificial intelligence, and terraforming are just the beginning. The Empire’s influence expands as it uses its newfound power to enforce its will across the galaxy, bringing even the most distant systems under its control.
- 20,000-25,000 G.A.C. Years: The Rise of the Techno-Hierarchs As technology becomes the cornerstone of the Empire’s dominance, a new class of elites, known as the Techno-Hierarchs, emerges. These individuals, a blend of organic and synthetic, hold immense power due to their control over the Singularity Engine and other advanced technologies. The Techno-Hierarchs play a critical role in governing the Empire, leading to a society increasingly divided between the technologically empowered and those who are not.
- 25,000-30,000 G.A.C. Years: The Echoes of Hubris The Empire’s reliance on the Singularity Engine and its expanding technological dominance begins to show cracks. Some factions within the Empire warn that the unchecked extraction of energy from the black hole could have unforeseen consequences. However, these warnings are largely ignored as the Empire continues its relentless pursuit of progress.
- 30,000-40,000 G.A.C. Years: The Singularity Crisis Signs of instability begin to appear in the Singularity Engine, causing unrest among the Techno-Hierarchs and the broader population. The extraction process is pushing the limits of what the black hole can sustain, leading to fluctuations in the energy output and localized space-time distortions. The Empire faces a choice: scale back the use of the Singularity Engine and risk losing its technological edge, or push forward and risk a catastrophic failure.
- 40,000 G.A.C. Years: The Prelude to the Next Stion The crisis reaches a tipping point as the Empire grapples with its own hubris. The outcome of this crisis will determine the fate of the galaxy and set the stage for the next Stion. Whether the Empire finds a way to stabilize the Singularity Engine or if it leads to a new era of conflict and collapse remains uncertain, leaving the galaxy on the brink of a new and uncertain chapter.

Political Scape
In the tract of the galaxy, with so many different forms of life vying for control over it's resources to further advance their society, it has been split into several political divisions.
Frontier | Entente | Association | League | Coalition | Throng | Conglomerate |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
The celestial frontier, an ocean of systems which have yet to have a sapient species achieve post-system or galactic travel. | Ententes are the alliances between the factions of systems. | Associations are the political factions that tie Ententes together. It's through the Associations that the Ententes get their words to the League. They typically tend to be types of oligarchies. | One of the oldest political bodies in the galaxy, the League has at one time held dominance over nearly 80% of it, however after the League's Fracture epoch and Second Galactic War, it has been reduced to a fraction of what it had been.
The League is spans several quadrants which are broken into sectors. These sectors house the system ententes that make up the citizens of the Leauge. |
Coalitions are the various political alliances that were formed out of the Associations which separated from the League. | Throng are the wild chaotic crowd ruled anarchy bodies which inhabit the further reaches of the Elegma and Jall quadrants. Most often cosmopolitans ruled by gangs, sin runs amuck within the generally agreed borders of Throngs. | Corporate conglomerates that own entire systems. Corporate Conglomerates have taken complete control over this area of the galaxy, with business taking place of government. |
League
The Adrophontic League, commonly referred to as Adro amongst it's citizens, and The League by it's adversaries, is the oldest political body in the Sakti galaxy, as well as the largest, having at one time controlled nearly 85% of it's ocean. However after it's fracture some time ago, it has been reduced to a fraction of it's size. Even still, it spans two quadrants, and holds forty one associations within it's borders.
