Archie Benjamin Rogers, later known by the moniker Kreelus, is the main protagonist of Happy Nights, Blood Annals, and Azunaru’s Assault. Born from artificial design and raised in quiet anonymity, Archie's journey is one of stolen peace and forced purpose. His story bridges the divide between grounded street conflict and cosmic warfare, serving as a grim commentary on agency, identity, and sacrifice in a world that chooses its heroes before they ever draw breath.
Despite originating from a lab, Archie is among the most human characters in the universe he occupies. Not by birthright, but by choice. He laughs like a real person, mourns like a broken one, and learns the hardest truths far too late. Where Azunaru is inevitability, Archie is defiance — a soul stitched together with grief, guilt, and that rare, brutal thing: hope that bites back.
Appearance
Archie Rogers stands at a modest 5'11", with a wiry build that belies his strength. He’s not a showy figure — usually clad in worn-out jackets, boots, and whatever street gear gets the job done without drawing eyes. Dark brown hair often falls into his eyes, and his face is marked by quiet wear: the kind of face that looks older than its years.
By the time of Azunaru’s Assault, his body bears the scars of nearly a decade of off-the-record war. His eyes are a dull steel-blue, sharp but exhausted. When merged with B-19, his frame takes on a ghostlike sheen — black tendrils coiling across his arms and back, his veins faintly glowing with absorbed energy. His presence shifts. He becomes less "man" and more witness.
Personality
Archie is reluctant, even passive, in the early years of his life. He avoids conflict when possible, believing in living quietly with those he loves. But once the illusion of peace is shattered, he hardens — not into stone, but tempered steel. He's not naturally cruel, but survival has taught him to kill first when necessary.
There’s a deep-seated loneliness in him, formed from a lifetime of being watched, lied to, and used. Even after finding out who he is, he struggles with why he is. This leads to a defining trait: Archie doesn't believe in destiny. He believes in choice. And he makes his, over and over again, even when the cost is unbearable.

Physicality
Though not physically imposing at first glance, Archie’s body has been engineered to perform beyond human limits. His reflexes, endurance, and cellular resilience are enhanced to such a degree that he can recover from fatal injuries within days and maintain awareness even during blunt-force trauma. His strength is elevated, though not to the level of characters like Azunaru — where Archie excels is in tactical adaptation.
Powers
Originally born as part of the Ubermensch Revival Project, Archie’s latent power is a form of adaptive reflex memory — he begins to learn during combat, adjusting his movements, power output, and mental strategy with unnatural precision. This “muscle intuition” makes him an absolute nightmare in prolonged fights.
Later, after inheriting B-19 from Miles, Archie gains the ability to absorb, store, and deploy abilities from others — though it requires physical contact and takes a toll on his body. The symbiote can regenerate him, cloak him, and temporarily weaponize limbs or blood, but it is also sentient and intrusive, whispering instincts Archie must constantly control.
Diegesis
Early Life
Archie was born on February 3rd, 2011, in a lab — the product of Zeke Zerdin’s Humman initiative, specifically the Ubermensch Revival Project, a program meant to biologically design the “perfect” human weapon. Created by Professors Purdy and Steptoe, he was later placed under the care of two former guards — Andrew Rogers and Anissa Evins — who could not conceive due to injuries sustained in duty. In exchange for their guardianship, Professor Kaufmann maintained constant surveillance over the child.
From birth to age 12, Archie lived what he believed was a normal life in a quiet town near Redriver, a city dominated by the Tamitan Cartel. However, his memories before age 12 are fragmented — suggesting deliberate neurological tampering.
Happy Nights (2029)
As a teenager, Archie kept to himself, avoiding the darker elements of Redriver. But when his friend J. Rockslay introduced him to underground fights, everything changed. A cartel agent saw Archie’s power firsthand — and the city erupted. His adoptive parents confessed the truth, and not long after, Morgan Chalke — claiming to be his brother — arrived and destroyed everything. Archie lost the fight. Lost his town. And woke up in a sterile room beneath the world.

Blood Annals (2032)
Three years later, Archie had escaped, drifting from one city to another under different names. In that time, he was approached by Miles, a former operative turned rogue hero, who recruited him for a final assault on Zerdin’s labs. There, they encountered Denoxa, a bio-engineered nightmare created using a cocktail of genetic information, including Archie’s own DNA.
Miles died passing B-19 to Archie, giving him the strength to end Denoxa — but not the answers he needed. Archie left that battlefield with more power, but even fewer people to trust.

Azunaru’s Assault (2040)
At age 29, Archie is the last major line of defense when Azunaru Kinst declares Earth’s subjugation. Through the battle, Archie uncovers the truth of the Adrophonic League, and with no ties left to Earth, he volunteers to leave.
In his final act, he sacrifices himself — not in death, but in dispersion — turning his body into a signal flare of resistance for all of humanity to rally behind.

Trivia
- Archie’s favorite animal is the Harpsidenectis Abysalis, a deep-sea predator believed extinct. He relates to its isolation.
- He suffers from dream-thinning, a side effect of memory implantation from the lab. His dreams often contain distorted versions of real people and places, sometimes used as predictive tools.
- The name Kreelus is derived from the Thornscale Kreelus, a nocturnal, armored mammal native to the jungle fringes of Griogubul. This nickname was an accident, coming from one of the first online videos of Archie where he was facing off against his former friend, J. Rockslay in which Rockslay saw one and shot it, however the angle of the camera caused it to look like he was called towards Archie, giving him his nickname.
- Archie once stated he had “no taste for music,” but Aaliyah once caught him listening to an old vinyl of Nine Inch Nails – "Right Where It Belongs".
- The jacket Archie wears in Azunaru’s Assault belonged to Julian Rogers, his late uncle, and is the only thing he was able to keep from his hometown.
- Archie's blood carries dormant gene-keys used in other biological experiments — meaning his body could technically spawn new variations of Denoxa if captured.
