Webs of Steele

Wanted to write a quick song inspired by my all time favorite hero, Peter Parker.

Verse 1:
In the heart of the city, where shadows creep,
A hero rises from the deep,
Bitten by fate, his powers ignite,
With great responsibility, he stands to fight.
In the web of lies, he finds his truth,
Swinging through the night, eternal youth,
With every leap, he defies the dark,
A guardian angel, Peter Parker’s mark.

Chorus:
Spider-Man, the city’s light,
In the darkest hour, he takes flight,
With webs of steel and a heart of gold,
His legend in the night unfolds.

Verse 2:
Enemies rise, from shadows cast,
Venom’s bite, Goblin’s laugh,
Through the pain, he never yields,
In the war-torn streets, his heart heals.
From Uncle Ben’s words, his path is clear,
In every scream, in every tear,
A symbol of hope, in the darkest night,
Spider-Man’s will, a beacon bright.

Chorus:
Spider-Man, the city’s light,
In the darkest hour, he takes flight,
With webs of steel and a heart of gold,
His legend in the night unfolds.

Bridge:
From the rooftops high, to the alley’s low,
In the face of fear, his strength will grow,
For every fall, he rises again,
The spirit of a hero, in the lion’s den.

Verse 3:
Mary Jane’s kiss, a lover’s vow,
In the eye of the storm, he takes his bow,
With friends by his side, and foes to defeat,
In the symphony of battle, he’ll never retreat.
A tale of courage, a song of might,
In the pages of time, he writes the fight,
For every soul, he stands and defends,
The story of Spider-Man, never ends.

Chorus:
Spider-Man, the city’s light,
In the darkest hour, he takes flight,
With webs of steel and a heart of gold,
His legend in the night unfolds.

Outro:
So here’s to the hero, in the crimson mask,
With every dawn, he takes on the task,
In the heart of the city, where shadows roam,
Spider-Man stands, protecting home.
